Celestial Art Retreat
(and campout)
Transformation through playful creation

Whether you’re a passionate artist or a person who likes to doodle, the Celestial Art Retreat will provide a space for you to express your creative side while in communion with God. With a foundation on the teachings of The Urantia Book, this weekend retreat will focus your mind on God’s presence and gratitude for God’s gifts.
On the 27 acres of Emerald Temple Healing Center, you will have room to choose if you want a moment of quiet reflection or if you want the joyful company of other spiritually-minded people. The property itself is being rewilded with flowers and trees. It has walking paths through the landscape and down to the River Raisin which you can enjoy during the day, and at night you can head over to the fire pit under an expanse of stars.
We encourage you to make the retreat your own, so activities are all optional. But, you can expect a collection of the following:
-
Artisanal group worship, and free-range worship
-
Talks from experienced students of The Urantia Book
-
A shared group art project
-
Simple craft lessons
-
Open artist space for making something of your own choosing
-
Vespers by the firepit
